Yesterday & Today is SWAGGER's pop-culture podcast series with a #TBT twist hosted by founder and editor, Sian-Pierre Regis, and residential shade queen Cassandra Alcide.

YOYOYOYO! We're back on the podcast bandwagon! This week we're talking about...

1. Kesha vs Dr Luke. The latest: Sony issued a statement on the ongoing legal battle between Kesha and Dr. Luke claiming that the company cannot legally #FreeKesha.

"Sony has made it possible for Kesha to record without any connection, involvement or interaction with Luke whatsoever. But Sony is not in a position to terminate the contractual relationship between Luke and Kesha." The statement continued, “Sony is doing everything it can to support the artist in these circumstances, but is legally unable to terminate the contract to which it is not a party."

3. Yesterday & Today: The throwback portion of the podcast where we look back at what happening today, and link it to old school Swagger coverage.

Today...we discuss the video that sparked the trending hashtag #WhichHillary. During a private fundraiser in South Carolina, Hillary Clinton was taken to task by activist Ashley Williams, who showed up to the event holding a sign referencing Hillary Clinton's speech in support of the controversial 1994 federal crime bill.

And yesterday's tie in, following the murder of Jordan Davis in 2014, Pharrell Williams spoke to us about addressing the Stand Your Ground Law and racially charged misconduct.

4. It's Oscar weekend! Are you even watching this year?
