SwaggerVault:
Alexandra Douby

For SwaggerVault, we reconnect with some of our favorite street style stars to get an update on how their lives have changed in 2015. Today, we catch up with xoNecole stylist/content producer Alexandra Douby.

1. How has your style changed since we last saw you in 2011?
My style constantly evolves! Every season into every year. "Fashion" or magazines don't inspire me. There's way too many people and [too much] street art surrounding me.

2. What are you up to now?
I am doing content pieces for xoNecole.com that have been doing well. I love interacting with the readers! I've done numerous editorials and wardrobe styling for some of your favorite celebs and models. I'm also working on branding myself, I have way more to offer than just [being a] stylist.

3. What is the most important news story today?
The tragedies in our community. I'm a minority and I have brothers. I'm constantly hearing about the heartless murders of these young black men —it cuts me deep. It hurts.

4. Where can we find you on social media?
Instagram: @androgynous_douby
Tumblr: @androgynousdouby
Snapchat: @alexandradouby

5. We first photographed you on the street. Is street style dead?
Street style will never die. Street style comes from the innovators and creators - people who aren't wealthy or popular. They are naturally the creative ones in my opinion. I wasn't wealthy growing up so I couldn't afford much but, my imagination helped me be creative with my wardrobe

6. What is your one high and one low in 2015?
Low: Losing inspiration. I got bored every one was doing the same thing. Dressing alike and following what all the celebrities were doing. It's cool to be inspired by them but, to outright swagger jack them. No. I'm not here for it.

High: I am currently working on something that I'd rather not discuss at the moment. I believe in cultivating your energy until the time is right.

7. Since these responses are for our Vault, where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?
An entrepreneur, I see success. Me as a household name.
