Artist On The Rise:
On Tour With Meg Mac

Like her music, Meg Mac's career is a slow burn. The 25 year-old Australian released her self-titled EP stateside this spring, lacing it with tracks that ebb and flow in gospel-tinged waters. On the hit "Roll Up Your Sleeves", Mac's voice is front and center, slaying melodies over a piano riff. On "Every Lie", she sounds like the female version of D'Angelo as she coos "Every lie that went down then/How many had I not found then/Every lie that went down then/I'll play the fool cause I found them."

It's no wonder, then, that she joined D'Angelo on his summer tour across the States earlier this year, and then continued on her own through Australia and Europe. We discovered her only recently, but thankfully she allowed us to tag along with her on tour. Below find an exclusive look backstage - and on-stage - as she brings her signature voice to venues worldwide, and check out her EP to get familiar with music's most soulful newcomer.
