Rihanna and Lupita Nyong’o Are Starring in a Buddy Comedy Based on A Tweet

According to Entertainment Weekly, Rihanna and Lupita Nyong'o will actually star in a buddy movie directed by Ava DuVernay. Issa Rae (!!!) is reportedly in talks to pen the script. Following “a very aggressive bid, beating out multiple other suitors." at this year's Cannes Film Festival, Netflix (with all the money) won the bid. Production starts in 2018.

The genius concept, first tweeted by @1800SADGAL, featured a photo of RiRi and Nyong'o sitting together at 2014 Prada show. (via: EW)
