MTV Introduces TV Awards And Gender Neutral Categories

MTV announced today that not only will they nix gender pronouns for award categories, for the first time TV will be included in the nominees for the annual MTV Movie awards, now called the MTV Movie & TV Awards. Jordan Peele's horror film, "Get Out" leads with six nominations. (via: MTV)

Yesterday, Solange asked for a fan to bless her/the internet with a mashup of 808s & Heartbreak and the "Don't Nobody Bring Me No Bad News" scene from The Wiz. Facebook Finally Does Something About Revenge Porn

The company struggling with how to keep revenge porn off the News Feed says it will help cut down on the practice with a new tool that will allow users to report explicit image they think were posted without permission. A dedicated team will review the content and then remove it, and keep it off the site with a photo-matching technology that will keep similar images off Instagram and Messenger.

Twitter Sues US Over Attempt To Reveal Identity Behind @ALT_USCIS Account

Twitter just filed a lawsuit against the Department of Homeland Security and US Customs and Border Protection for attempting to uncover the person behind the anonymous Twitter account, @ALT_uscis, known for its critical of United States immigration policy. (via: The Verge)
