The Internet Is Pissed At The Straight Daily Beast Journalist Who Used Grindr To Out Gay Athletes In Rio

Just how low will a writer go for page views? In an 800-word article over at the Daily Beast, Nicho Hines went undercover as a gay man and joined Grindr while stationed in Rio to cover the Summer Olympics. What makes this non story even worse is that Hines outed multiple gay athletes by describing their heights, weights, countries of origin and the sports they played. This included one player from "a notoriously homophobic country," because why not potentially put people in danger for page views? SMH. (Via: The Daily Beast)
Marijuana Will Remain Illegal Under Federal Law
Bad news for marijuana advocates like me and Malia Obama, the DEA announced that it will keep marijuana illegal as a Schedule 1 substance. Good news for researches though, for the first time the government will allow institutions grow marijuana for scientific study in locations outside the DEA's facility in Mississippi. (via: CNN)

MTV is honoring Rihanna with the highest honor, the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. She joins the ranks with Britney Spears, Beyonce and Kanye West. Does this mean Rih will slay the stage? Let us pray to Rihzus.
