Happy BeyDay

via Beyonce.com

Today Yonce turns 34, and the Beyhive is officially demanding that their Queen's DOB be a national holiday due to her "positive contributions to the betterment of both the musical landscape and society as a whole." LOL, Beyhive.

In the White House petition, the Hive demands that the public observe the date by doing the following:

1. Acknowledging who run the world. (Girls.)

2. Reminding those around them that they woke up like this.

3. Informing past romantic partners that if they liked it, they should have put a ring on it.

4. Flexing while their hands are up.

5. Feeling themselves.

So far over 1,000 people have signed the petition. (Via: Whitehouse Petitions)

Get Your Read On: Amy FitzHenry's 'Cold Feet'

We're the type to second guess just about all of our decisions: Was college really worth it? Could we do better than the man we're with? Is this look really that dope?

Cold Feet, the new book by our friend Amy FitzHenry, is all about rethinking life's major moves. When Emma Moon takes a last minute road-trip, every thread of her life - like the man she planned to marry - starts to fray. Will her second-guesses, like our second guesses, be her unspooling? The book's funny, sweet, and honest -- perfect for a Labor Day road-trip with him.
