Here's What You Should Know About Donald Trump's (Possible) Running Mate

via AP

Gov. Mike Pence is dropping his re-election bid in Indiana to become Donald Trump’s running mate, according to multiple sources. That's bad news because Pence does not care about gays or women.

In 2015, Pence signed the controversial Religious Freedom Restoration Act also known as the "license to discriminate" bill that would have allowed businesses to deny service to LGBTQ people. In 2007, while in Congress, the former Rep. voted no on the Employment Non-Discrimination Act, which proposed to ban discrimination based on one’s sexual orientation.

Thanks to Pence, Indiana has tougher abortion laws than most states because he has signed every piece of anti-abortion legislation, including the House Enrolled Act No. 1337 bill, which would have held doctors liable if a woman had an abortion based on race, sex or disability, like Down's Syndrome. The required post-termination burial and cremations and mandated that abortion physicians have admitting privileges at a nearby hospital.

He's has "deep ties" to GOP donors Charles and David Koch and received an A rating by the NRA. (Via: NPR)

via: Twitter

Starbucks customers across the United States have been telling baristas there names are "black lives matter" with the goal that when their order is up, and it's time to shout the name across the store, everyone hears the phrase and it initiates conversation. For the most part, it's been successful, coffee drinkers have taken to social media to share shots of their receipts with the hashtag written across, and videos of it happening in real time. Pokémon Go Craze Forces The NYPD To Issue Safety Tips

The NYPD is reacting to the Pokémon craze by issuing a series of safety tips for users catching 'em all. They include obvious rules that I can't believe grown ass adults are breaking like, "do not trespass onto private property or go to areas you us usually would not if you weren't playing Pokemon Go" and "do not drive or ride your bike while interacting with the app." (Via: Gothamist)
