South Dakota Just Became The First State To Pass Transgender Student Bathroom Ban

via Newscom

South Dakota could be the first state to ban transgender students from using the restrooms and lockerooms of the gender they identify with, restricting students to use spaces associated with their sex assigned at birth.

On Tuesday, the Senate passed the HB 1008bill in a 20-15 vote, which will now go to Republican Gov. Dennis Daugaard, who has previously stood in support of the law.

According to ABC, if it's signed off on, transgender students will be given "reasonable accommodation" such as single-stall bathrooms or the "controlled use" of staff-restroom, locker and shower. (via: ABC)

Twitter Is Rolling Out A Gif Button Because Dreams Do Come True

via Twitter

While Kim Kardashian West and I wait for Twitter to add an edit option, the platform has gone ahead and added a GIF button on iOS, Android and desktop, allowing users to search for GIFs by keyword and insert in DMs and tweets.
"If you're looking for the perfect cat yawn or dance move to express exactly how you feel, just click the new GIF button," Twitter said in a blog post. "You can search by keyword, or browse categories of different reactions like Happy Dance, Mic Drop, or YOLO."

The feautre is available for beta users today, and will roll out to the public over the next few weeks. (Via: Twitter)
