COME THROUGH, BEYONCE
Today, we should all be thankful for Chris Martin, who dropped a teaser of the Beyoncé assisted single, "Hymn for the Weekend", a track Martin says was inspired by ~*~da club~*~ .
"The original kernel was that I was listening to Flo Rida or something, and I thought, it's such a shame that Coldplay could never have one of those late-night club songs, like "Turn Down for What," Martin told The Wall Street Journal. Okay, but where's Blue Ivy's solo? (Via: Twitter/WSJ)

Trans Model Tschan Andrews Calls "Zoolander 2", "Just Another Example Of Transphobia"
The latest trailer for the "Zoolander 2" has sparked a petition launched by Sarah Rose, who calls the depiction of transgender models "harmful" and "dangerous". ICYMI: Benedict Cumberbatch plays a transgender woman in the reboot because Hollywood is still unaware that transgender actresses actually exist. According to the petition, “Cumberbatch’s character is clearly portrayed as an over-the-top, cartoonish mockery of androgyne/trans/non-binary individuals. This is the modern equivalent of using blackface to represent a minority.”
In an interview with The Guardian, 23-year-old transgender model Tschan Andrews called the clip "offensive", pointing out that the film "is a prime example of not understanding that actual experience. Even the name: All – that’s insulting. They want to reduce her to neither/or. And then asking if you have a hot dog or a bun, reducing the whole thing to genitalia... It’s othering the person and just another example of transphobia and sensationalism in its truest form.”
So far over the petition has gained over 10,000 signatures. You can sign it here. (Via: The Guardian)
