You Need To Know Brooklyn's GRUMBY

Is your summer playlist getting dry yet? Good news! Today, Brooklyn-based duo GRUMBY, dropped their debut EP, Changes, featuring six electro-R&B jams including the slinky standout track, "Refuse" featuring Häri Mint. "'Refuse' is a soulful homage to the struggles and evolutions of personal identity that speaks to the album's larger themes of relationships, heartbreak, and emotional highs and lows." Rajuju, 1/2 of the duo told SWAGGER.  "We collaborated with Häri Mint on this one who came at the song from a deep place."

"Changes" is available on iTunes today. Follow GRUMBY so you can lowkey stalk the musicians.

IDK If The New Camera Restricta Is Shady Or Smart

via: Camera Restricta

Take a quick scan of the hashtag #NYC and you'll probably see identical images of the Empire State Building and other classic (or clichéd) landmarks, right? Germany's Phillipp Schmitt is attempting to end repetitive photo streams with his protoype, Camera Restricta, a GPS equipped camera that blocks users from taking photos too similar to others already uploaded on the internet. #SHADE

When a user attempts to snap an image, if Camera Restricta identifies more than 35 photos taken in one location the shutter automatically retracts, obscuring the viewfinder so you're blocked from taking the snapshot. This camera is for sure a fashion blogger's worst nightmare.  (via: Philipp Schmitt)

Facebook Is Officially Releasing The "Dislike" Button

The moment you've been waiting since the dawn of Facebook is finally here! During a Q&A session Tuesday, CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced the plan to roll out the "dislike" button. YAAAAASSSSS. The most requested add-on has been downvoted by the company for years in order to avoid throwing negativity onto other users a la Reddit, but since every response can't be "like", Zuck gave in. YAAASSSS.
“What they really want is the ability to express empathy. Not every moment is a good moment,” said Zuckerberg. (Via: The Verge)

Want To Smell Like The Late Aaliyah?

via: Xyrena

Aaliyah fans, rejoice! You can smell like your queen thanks to a new collaboration with perfume company, Xyrena and the late singer's mother and brother,  Diane and Rashad Haughton. To smell like Aaliyah, you'll have to shell out $64 for the unisex Extrait Parfum, which according to the Xyrena's site is a "nod to Aaliyah's favored men's scents that fall in line with her tomboy image."  The formula is a hue of black, (Aaliyah’s favorite color) and contains base notes of vanilla, sandalwood, amber, and jasmine; middle notes of black pepper, violet and leather; with top notes of mint, lavender and mandarin.  It's available for pre-order now and slated to hit stores mid-October.
