H&M Is Shutting Down Its Plus Size Departments For More Sportswear And Beauty

In case you need another reason to hate the athleisure trend, H&M has been busy quietly removing its plus size department from stores to make room for beauty, home goods and sportswear offerings. According to a spokesperson (via Revelist) "H&M’s product range has grown in the past few years, with e.g. an extended sports offering, a new beauty assortment and our interior concept H&M Home. This means not all stores have room for all our fashion concepts. The assortment in the stores is evolving as we continuously assess the product mix, which is decided by each store’s specific pre-requisites when it comes to e.g. its size and the customers’ requests."

So basically, to wear the same looks H&M's plus size models are wearing in campaign ads in-store, shoppers will have to go online because serving an already underserved market < size 2 activewear leggings. (via: Revelist)

"Prankster" Vitalii Sediuk Assaulted Gigi Hadid Because "She Has Nothing to Do With High Fashion"

There's gotta be a better way, Vitalii.

Yesterday, Gigi Hadid was leaving the Max Mara show at Milan Fashion Week when viral "prankster" Vitalii Sediuk grabbed her and attempted to lift her up. For whatever the fuck dumb reason. Hadid elbowed him in the face, because she' is fucking Yolanda Foster's daughter RESPECT. Sediuk is milking his minutes of fame by commenting on moment to whoever will listen. The Hollywood Reporter apparently had the time.

Via THR: "“While I consider Gigi Hadid beautiful, she and her friend Kendall Jenner have nothing to do with high fashion. By doing this, I encourage the fashion industry to put true talents on the runway and Vogue covers instead of well-connected cute girls from Instagram,” Sediuk says.

As much as I shade Gigi's struggle walk, no man has the authority to snatch up a woman's body. He continued:

“You can call it a manifest or a protest. This is also a wake-up call for Anna Wintour, who turned Vogue into a tabloid by putting Kardashians and other similar celebrities on a cover of a well-respected magazine,” he adds."

Delete him, Anna. (via: THR)
