In an interview with Mashable, the CEO of New York-based period-proof underwear brand THINX responded to suggestions that the brand create underwear specifically designed for transgender men for trans men who have periods, too. “We hadn't given a lot of thought to it, which is not super surprising given the lack of trans male visibility even now,” Miki Agrawal said. On Saturday, that changed when the line rolled out the "boyshort" a leak-proof underwear that is "gender neutral", and suitable for anyone with a period. In a blog post published the same day, THINX owned up to its exclusionary tag line,“For Women with Periods,” and annnounced the new range. Shout out to that. (Via: Mashable)
